The data collection on the landslides are operated partly as a task of the OMIV Observatory, and partly through research projects of the partners. The situation of data collection is thus diverse per study site, and some data acquired through research projects may be discontinuous or not distributed through the website.
The distributed OMIV data are quality-controlled. Some interruptions of data records may happen because of sensor or telemetry dysfunctionning. Inaccuracies in the sensor data (because of instrument malfunctions or physical changes at the measurement site) have been corrected or are indicated in the datasheets. Higher resolution or more complete datasets may be available at some sites and may be acquired by contacting the scientists in charge.
Data users are cautioned to consider carefully the nature of the information before using it for science or for operational decisions that concern personal or public safety.
