General Information
The site eost.unistra.fr/opomiv is published by the the French Landslide Observatory (OMIV – Observatoire Multi-disciplinaire des Instabilités de Versant), Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre de Strasbourg (OSU EOST), 5 rue René Descartes, 67084 Strasbourg Cedex France.
The OMIV website is provided as a public international service by the Institut National des Sciences de l'Univers - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS-INSU, France), Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre de Strasbourg (EOST, France).

OMIV allows the user, however, the right to reproduce any contents of the site as copy for backup or printout. This right is granted as part of a strictly personal, private and not collective use.
Policy on Landslide Monitoring Dataset
The Policy on Landslide Monitoring Dataset follows the International Council for Science World Data System (ICSU WDS) Data Policy (http://www.icsu-wds.org/organization/data-policy)
The OMIV Data Policy recognizing the benefits and importance of contributing to the growing international efforts of data sharing, has adopted the following general principles:
- Full and open exchange of data, metadata and products shared, recognizing relevant international instruments and national policies and legislation;
- All shared data, metadata and products are made available with minimum time delay and at minimum cost;
- All shared data, metadata and products are free of charge or no more than cost of reproduction for only research and education.
The data are supplied on the condition that they are not used for commercial gain (media, transcription and other costs may be charged to the user).
The quick-look data (also named preliminary data) are raw, automatically processed data that have not passed through any review by OMIV collaborating institutes. They correspond to the raw sensor data collected on site and transfer routinely to storage servers. They can be downloaded and used, at the own risk of the user, for any scientific purposes. The OMIV data providers expressly are not responsible of the usage of these data.
The advanced data (also named solution data) are advanced products calculated by OMIV collaborating institutes using standardized processing routines. These data are intended for the interpretation of the landslide movements, and are available free of charge for non-commercial and scientific use. Definitive solution data are available with open access on different repositories.
Policy on Acknowledgements for OMIV Landslide Monitoring Data
By using the OMIV data, you, as data user, accept that an offer of co-authorship will be made through personal contact with the related OMIV collaborating institutes whenever substantial use is made of the data for any publication or website.
By using this data, you, as data user, should acknowledge the OMIV collaborating institutes in charge of the corresponding quick-look or advanced data, the CNRS and the associated observatories (EOST, OSUG, OCA, THETA, EMMAH). It is mandatory to reference the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of OMIV in the reference list of any publication.
The correct reference is:
